PlaySpellBee iOS App

Solo play works offline. The iOS app requires no account and includes no advertising or third-party analytics SDK.

Found words, scores, streaks, and appearance preferences are stored only on your device. You can remove this solo-play data at any time from Profile → Reset All Progress, or by deleting the app.

Live Challenges connect to our game server through an anonymous session. The server assigns a random nickname and built-in avatar. The app does not upload your profile name or photo.

Information We Collect

Analytics Information: Google Analytics starts when the website loads and collects usage data about how visitors interact with the website. This includes:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Browser type and version
• Device type and screen resolution
• General geographic location (country/city level)
• Referral sources (how you found our website)

Local Storage: Our website stores game preferences and progress locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device.

Live Challenge Data: When you join a Live Challenge, the Service uses an anonymous session ID and sends the room status, score, and submitted words to our game server. This lets the server validate words, update the shared scoreboard, and reconnect you to an active round. The server uses only a random nickname and built-in avatar; it does not receive your profile name or photo.

We do not require registration or login, and we do not ask website visitors for names, email addresses, or phone numbers.

How We Use Your Information

We use the analytics data collected through Google Analytics to:

• Understand how visitors use our website
• Improve website performance and user experience
• Identify popular content and features
• Monitor website traffic and usage patterns

Solo-game progress and preferences stay in your browser. Live Challenge data is sent only to operate the multiplayer round and is not used for advertising or tracking.
